Trafalgar ballroom

The finest in Portsmouth, our Trafalgar Ballroom never fails to impress and inspire. This large and airy room can be used for many purposes, from wedding celebrations to press conferences. With three bars and full banqueting facilities, we can easily cater for up to 300 guests at cocktail receptions and 200 for banquets. It's the perfect place to hold a memorable celebration.

Nelson lounge

For a more intimate setting, the Nelson Lounge is an ideal function room for receptions and celebrations. At the heart of the club, the lounge is perfectly placed for you to also use the adjacent compass area. This room also has a bar and can hold up to 100 guests.

Hood Room

The smallest of our function rooms, the Hood Room is just perfect for training sessions, team briefings and board meetings. It's also a good place for coffee mornings and smaller club get-togethers. With projector facilities and access to plenty of natural light, it's a great environment for learning and problem-solving.

BELOW DECKS

Our Below Decks function room creates an atmosphere of being on board a Navy ship. The new decor has exposed overhead beams and pipework, engine room features and a Ship's bell. The port holes have recognisable 'views' of some of the Royal Navy's favourite ports.

Below Decks offers a large and versatile function room, with a mixture of fun and navy tradition, a large dance floor complete with mood lighting. Fully accessible facilities are available.

QUARTERDECK

The Quarterdeck function room is a small and personal room, adjacent to our Horatio’s Restaurant. The room can seat 18 guests, for a private dinner, or a small boardroom conference. Refreshments and lunch or dinner can be provided and we would be happy to discuss your menu choices with you. Traditionally, the Quarterdeck was where the Captain commanded his vessel and where the ship’s colours were kept. It is the ‘nerve centre’ of the ship, and is often the main reception area when the vessel is in harbour.
